Textbook Readings

This page contains extra information concerning the textbook readings that are assigned in the course. In addition to the page numbers on the syllabus and main course page, below you'll find the chapters and section headings that corresponding to those pages.

Note that the only approved text for our class is Psychology (4th Edition), by Schacter, Gilbert, Wegner & Nock [ISBN: 9781464155468]. The page numbers and section headings correspond to the material in that edition of that book. If you have a different edition of the textbook (or some version you found elsewhere by some other means 😲), we cannot vouch for the accuracy or completeness of those or any other physical or digital textbooks.

(When you see the word "until" below, it is not inclusive of the heading that follows the word "until". So, for example, if it says "Chapter 3, beginning until subheading titled 'Chemical Signaling: Transmission Between Neurons'", you are not responsible for the material in the subheading titled "Chemical Signaling: Transmission Between Neurons")
